Here are reviews of my shows by Sara Hardwick. She, and not me, wrote them because she saw them, and I didn't. I was perfoming.

Alcorine of the Alps:  A Concert Review by His Biggest Fan

Alcorine the Great has done two concerts thus far, both of them Youth Radio benefit concerts at Rhinos.  Both, of course, were amazing.  The first concert, while spectacular, started off poorly with an angry punk fan ripping off Alcorine's mask, but the concert only got better from there, with sing-alongs, freestyle raps, and the Missy Elliot March performed by a chicken.  This chicken and I shared a name: ME!

The second concert, while not as epic, was certainly more well-recieved.  The crowd stood in awe at the wonder of Alcorine, or perhaps they were just too scared to move.  Anyway, I enjoyed it.  Alcorine premiered many new songs, including the best cover of Big Yellow Taxi to ever exist.

It's been quite some time since this concert occured, so the memory's a bit hazy, but I'll try my best.  Alcorine was great as always.  While this perhaps wasn't his finest concert, Alcorine was still the best act in the lineup.  There were several new songs that premiered, such as Satun-Dap-Cox; Ku Klux Klan and Ollie; Alcorine's symphony, Cutting the Apple into Halves; and my personal favorite, Eric Is Be President, an old-school rap song that contains elements of the classic Russian propaganda film Alexander Nevsky and tales of a guy that was in my english class last year.

The cover song medley, usually the highlight of the show, faltered due to some technical difficulties.  Luckily, I was in the front row, so I could hear it.  Trust me, it rocked.  Alcorine performed the theme songs from Boys Vs. Girls and Big O, I'm So (a song that was originally performed on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy), and Thoia Thoing.

This concert probably had the most impact on Alcorine's career since his grand premiere thus far, for we actually knew a lot of people in the crowd, some of whom we didn't even invite.  Also, this was the first opportunity to purchase Alcorine's CD, Introduction to Alpine Culture.  It sold well, and we plan to sell more at the next concert.
